I genuinely did not know that Steve Thompson wrote Reichenbach, but now I do and I shall spread the word and metaphorically shake the guy’s hand.

Also, yes to all the above commentary.

I totally agree that he doesn’t live to ‘mess’ with the fans. 

Yes, he’s a good writer, but he’s not the best. His ‘trolling’ is just good story telling. His ‘twists’ aren’t genius, he’s just telling a story they way they should be told. TV has considerably dumbed down over the years, plot twists, mystery and heartbreaking and intellectual stories shouldn’t be as rare as they are today.

Moffat is a good writer, he is what writers should be, he doesn’t give away everything at the beginning so people ‘get it’, he writes in a way that makes the watcher think, which is what programmes and films are supposed to do. He makes people think and wonder and then at the end either everything is revealed or is left in a way that makes you think harder, makes you rewatch to spot things you’ve missed.

Steven Moffat, along with other amazing writers he works with, is changing tv back to what it should be.

He is not a troll, yes he likes to joke around and keep secrets with fans, but that doesn’t make him an evil genius.
